This follows on from the very successful inaugural event held in 2018. ( See:- mmsa-wheelpower-uxbridge-2018)
Many lodges and chapters have been kind enough to donate towards this MMSA initiative over the past few years and this is the first time we have been able to hold the event since it was cancelled in 2020.
We are looking for volunteers for the day and anyone interested in helping should contact Paul Sully via email at paulmsully@gmail.com.
If any brother/companion wishes to attend as a spectator, please register as soon as possible.
Please be aware that numbers are restricted.
There is no charge to attend, however, as a number of vulnerable children will be present it is essential that every attendee pre-registers with us before Friday 21st October 2022.
Should you wish to attend, please compete the Google Form with your full name, mobile telephone number and car registration ( Registration Form )
A name tag and car pass will be available for collection from the MMSA hub on the day of the event.
On the day, you will see at first hand, the wonderful work done by Wheelpower and the Paralympian movement, to inspire young children.
There will be approximately 100 children trying out many Paralympian events, such as wheelchair shooting, fencing, basketball, cricket, hockey and many more.
For many of the children, this will be the first time they have tried any of these sports.
It will be a very special day for the children, Wheelpower, Brunel University and, of course, Middlesex Freemasonry.
Once you have pre-registered with us, you can arrive any time after 10:00 a.m. at Brunel University, via the Kingston Lane entrance.
Once you have entered the complex from the roundabout on Kingston Lane, turn right at the next smaller roundabout and park in car park 2.
Stewards will be on duty and will assist you with parking which is free for those registered guests.
Once you have parked your vehicle, follow the signs to the MMSA hub and collect your passes.
Refreshments will be available from a variety of retailers on the campus and there is also a pay bar that will be open all day.
The event will finish around 3:00 p.m.
The MMSA look forward to seeing you on the Tuesday 1st November.
