Two representatives from Osterley Lodge No 6430, W. Bro Ken Johnston PPrAGDC and W. Bro Cameron Burt PPrAGDC made a presentation of a cheque for £500 as part of the Lodge’s entitlement to use for Charitable purposes. The cheque was gratefully received on behalf of The Mulberry Centre by Penny Randhawa (Supporter Engagement Lead). The Mulberry Centre specialises in caring for cancer patients who are over 18 years old. They provide many free therapies including massage and acupuncture. They are often the first port of call for anyone recently diagnosed with cancer within the West Middlesex Hospital. The unit was created in 2001 and has since provided therapies to 15,000 patients. Their own “Mission Statement” adds that they are committed to providing individual, tailor-made support to all their clients, enabling people to seek emotional and practical support in the way that works best for them.  The Charity continually reviews its workshops and services to make sure they fit the needs of their users.

The Mulberry Centre is based at the West Middlesex University Hospital in Isleworth - https://themulberrycentre.co.uk/

Not only did the Lodge donate £500 to this worthy cause but gave from their own charity resources a gift of £400 to Lifelites with an additional £100 from an individual member of the Lodge.
