THE PERFECT ASHLAR symbolises our journey of development.
In changing a Rough Ashlar into a Perfect Ashlar, the workman takes away and never adds.
He chips and chips and cuts away rough edges.
He removes the visible flaw.
He takes what is already there and develops it into a Perfect Ashlar.
In our ritualistic work, we can take away much of the roughness, remove the sharp points and obliterate the visible defects.
