Important Message From The Provincial Grand Almoner

Following on from the successful PSA screening sessions last year, invitations have been sent to those who are in the high-risk group to have a follow-up blood test to ascertain that their clinical condition has not changed. They are in the high-risk group for 3 main reasons,

1. There is a family history of prostate or breast cancer.
2. They are of certain ethnic groups who are more susceptible to prostate cancer.
3. They are within the upper 25 percentile in the previous blood test results.

There will be two sessions i.e.,

Twickenham Masonic Centre on Saturday, 28^th January 2023 between 9.30am-12.30pm.

Harrow Masonic Centre on Saturday, 4^th February 2023 between 9.30am and 12.30pm.

THESE SESSIONS ARE BY INVITATION ONLY.

If you have not been invited, you will not be seen.

For those who have been invited to attend one of these sessions, they will be able to book themselves for a place on-line. Full details of the booking arrangements are in the letter which will be sent shortly.

The Province of Middlesex Benevolent Fund had kindly agreed to pay for the fee i.e., £30 for each brother tested. Therefore, these events are free to all participants. However, voluntary donations are welcome and can be made to the Province of Middlesex Benevolent Fund using either the QR code or the link provided in the letter. It is suggested that this voluntary donation should be no more than £10.
